I want Twitter to survive and grow. But not this way.
I live in fear of Twitter disappearing, but I can’t embrace this change.
On Tuesday morning, a day I will now refer to as “Black Heart Tuesday,” Twitter replaced my “Favorite” star icon with heart icons and “Likes.”

Hearts and stars do not mean the same thing. Favorite and Like do not mean the same thing.
When you put a star on something, you’re indicating, “Good job!” or “This is the best!” or, maybe, “Yeah, I agree.”
